i cant log into my account due to windows firewall...

i cant log into my account due to windows firewall...

So, when i tried to login to my account, it shows this thing, i tried to reset location, and reinstall spotify, but it seems that it doesn't work...

btw: i also tried allow spotify through firewall...

Thanks for reaching out - we’re here to help!
 

We suggest you restart your PC after adjusting the firewall setting to allow Spotify. This basic step is very simple, but often overlooked.

 

It's also a good idea to click on the underlined label saying proxy settings and check what options might be affecting Spotify's behavior. 

 

Also, try the steps described in this Community response. It seems that helped other users experiencing the same firewall issue.

I don't have any Proxy servers, and i also restarted the computer...

Just double-checking if you've already tried a clean reinstall as suggested in the EthanS1's post shared by Ivan. If you have and still experience the same issue, there are few more things you can try:

  • Disable any antivirus or ad-blocking software, and turn off VPN if in use.
  • Check if the proxy settings are set to default (Auto-Detect) and switch to No Proxy.
  • Remove host files. Head here to find out how.
  • If possible, switch to another internet connection (WiFi, mobile data via tethering, or going direct via LAN cable).
  • Try logging in from another device.
  • Try accessing the web player before re-attempting to log back in to the desktop client.
  • Run Spotify on Safe Mode.

In case the issue persists, it'd be great if you could let us following details:

  • Your device and its OS version.
  • The exact Spotify version.
  • Your country.
  • The troubleshooting steps you have tried so far.

Once we have that, we will pass it on to the relevant team, who will look further into it.
