"Email is already taken" when editing account I'm already logged into. PLEASE HELP!

"Email is already taken" when editing account I'm already logged into. PLEASE HELP!

I've been trying to get an Email invite for the family plan and its not working. So I go and delete my account, make a new one, (just as the FAQ's said) reset my password, try to edit my account info and it tells me that the email is already taken. It is. BY ME! In the account I'm signed into! Is there like a double account thing going on here? I've read all the FAQ's, looked at all the suggestions, and done everything I could. I feel like linking with facebook somehow screwed it up. My browser, when I log in on my laptop has a different profile picture than my mobile or desktop app. I Just want the darn family plan invite.
