Ad freezes/crashes app

Hi, I have a free account, obvs. Tried to play a station and the video ad freezes before it begins. I'm not able to do anything but close the app.
I uninstalled, cleared app data, reinstalled with no change in results. (i might try a different station)

The same thing has been happening to me for the past couple of days.

This also happens when I’m running the app on my iPad listening to playlists.
