Change on how playlist save

Hello

The app has changed recently and I'd like to ask why.

I organise my music via playlists

Up until this week i could click on an album, click save to play list the click new.

This used to default to the artist/album

This has been removed and now the field is blank.

Why was the default album/artist removed? It's a royal pain to type tbe new name in

Came here to complain about the exact same thing. Seems like they're trying to discourage you from saving entire albums. Needs to default to the artist+album name when you create a single playlist from the entire album like it did in the past. It's much easier to erase that default playlist name if that's what you want than to type in the artist+album name. Spotify has to know that. It's the kind of bull**bleep** strong-arm tactic that would make me consider another service if I hadn't already paid for premium for the entire year upfront.

Same issue here. It was there for a while last year, it went back to normal and now they updated it again. It's a really really bad update and hugely inconvenient.

Hello i also forgot too mention the remove download has disappeared and you have to totally delete playlist instead of keeping it in your library

I'm so mad. Spotify has got to be the most passive aggressive music service in town. This will be the third time in 5 years I've had to raze and rebuild my library because they found some petty way to sabotage my organizational scheme. And I just looked myself in for a year. I feel like a sucker.
