Controls in lock screen after installing android 8 oreo

I have nexus 5x and with android 7, just taking the phone (ambient display)  I had Spotify controls and background with album art. Now with android 8 (oreo) this notification is an icon and I have to press twice to get the same controls as before. This is annoying and unconfortable. Is something Spotify can fix with a future upgrade? Or, is something that only Android can fix?

Yes, it is hte exact same problem. Since I updated to Oreo I can't see the controls on the lock screen and can't find a way to enable it agiain.
