Inconsistent volumes across tracks

Hello,

I've noticed in the past two weeks or so, the volume levels across tracks have not been consistent. This is also happening between tracks on a single album that play at a consistent volume on the Android media player. Because of this I'm convinced it's something to do with Spotify and not the songs themselves.

I have the Spotify volume normalizer turned on and it doesn't seem to be helping. I've also done a clean reinstall and still no luck.

I'm running Spotify version 8.4.3.479

My phone is a Droid Mini running Android version 4.4.4

There should be an option in spotify's settings on your Android.

An option for what? I've already tried the normalizer in Spotify.

It could be to do with a few things:

Your device settings - Check your sound settings and try find a 'Audio stabilizer';

Your sound emiting device - Try other devices/headphone;

I checked my phone and the settings look fine. If there is some sound leveling option besides the EQ in Android, I'm not aware of how to access it.

I've played songs with headphones, my auxiliary cord, and my phone's internal speakers; they've all produced the same result.
