Resume not working correctly

I've noticed that if I pause a song like midway through a song, and come back to it later, it starts playing all the way from the song's beginning instead of the point in the song where I had left off. I have the most recent version of the app on my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S4 and the issue occurs on both. Any ideas? Thanks.
