Shared Playlists section missing in Spotify Kids

We’re receiving reports that Shared Playlists are not showing up in the Spotify Kids app. The issue is affecting multiple devices.

I am having the same problem! I specifically subscribed to this service to share playlists with my kids on their watch, which has a Spotify Kids app. The inability to do this will likely lead to us cancelling the service.

I just installed the Kids apps for my two kids and shared a playlist that was:
1. Brand new
2. Public from the start

Sharing is not working... please fix ASAP

Have you found a solution for this ? I have the same exact problem. The shared section has completely vanished from my daughter's profile.

I am also having this issue. Playlists have been shared following the instructions and have been set to "public" on my account and they do not appear anywhere on the Spotify Kids app that I can find. Please advise ASAP.

Can you let us know the following (whichever you haven't already) so we can forward them to our tech team:

• The model, OS version and Spotify Kids version of the affected devices.
• The troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
• Does adding the playlist to your profile make any difference?
• Is the Shared playlists section missing in the kid's profile?
• Is the playlist visible in the Grown-ups section?

We'll be on the lookout for your replies.

I am having the same problem. The shared playlist section has completely disappeared from the kids app.

We have tried to delete & reinstall the app but it is still missing. Adding the playlists to the parents profile does not have any effect. The playlists are still all showing shared on the parent’s profile. Unsharing and resharing them does not work. Any playlists played recently are showing in the recently played section and can be played from there so it seems the playlists are still shared. It’s just the shared playlist section has disappeared so no able to access them on the app. App version 1.41.0.15

Here’s the info from our side:

Devices: Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Tab S8

OS Version: One UI 6.1 – Android 14

Spotify Kids App Version: 1.40.0.2

The playlist is added to my Grown-ups profile.

The entire "Shared playlists" section is missing from the Kids profile, although the playlist can still be selected for sharing in the Grown-ups section.

Hi, I'm also seeing this problem, it started all of a sudden during the night. Shared playlist section is missing from the kids' profile. The playlists are visible in the grown-ups side of the app. I've tried switching playlist between private and public, adding playlist to profile, restarting the app, and restarting the device. I see the problem in two devices:

Luoran M4S music player, Android 9, app 1.32.0.1

Google Pixel 7a, Android 15, app 1.40.0.2

 I am having the same problem. 
1. Spotify kids is on an iPhone XR, iOS 17.6.1,  Spotify Kids version 1.41.0

2. I have made the playlists public, then probated them and made them public again. Removed and re added shared playlists, tried old and new playlists, copied over old playlists to brand new playlist, logged out and back in to both my and kids Spotify accounts, force quit reopened, repeated all of these steps in various combinations

3. Adding the playlist to my profile did not make a difference 

4. Yes, the shared playlist section is missing from the kids profile

5. Yes, the playlists are visible in the grown up section - check marked and confirmed as shared.
