Spotify Connect doesnt find Speaker

Hi!

I'm testing the free month at the moment and wanted to use Spotify Connect with my iTeufel Air Blue Speaker. Unfortunately Connect doesnt seem to find it in the App. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S3 with the newest Android version. My speaker is connected with my WLAN, and I already tried it out with my iPod which worked perfectly with the WLAN at the same time.

I already stopped/reinstalled the App, log in/out from Spotify and restarted my phone.

Hope someone can help me

There were similar problems outta there but updating The speakers Firmware should fix lt:)

Hi and thanks for your answer.

I thought the same and updated the firmware yesterday already, but it still wont work.

Today i tried Connect with an iPhone 4S of a friend and it worked fine. 

Dont know if its a general problem with Samsung Phones or something like that.

That is weird because of your spotify on your phone has The newest version connect also has to work Fine. I Hope someone other can help you. Im really sorry

You say you tried connect with your friends iphone. Was that with this speaker? I wonder add you've only tried it with apple devices if in fact these were connecting through airplay

Yes it was with this speaker. I tried with other devices to check if its maybe a problem with the speaker. That this were Apple devices is a coincidence.
