Spotify opens randomly by itself on android

My Question or Issue

Randomly throughout the day, Spotify has started to launch by itself. This ws never a problem until just recently, and on two of my devices (phone and tablet). I notice it often happens when I turn on my screen after sleeping, and it happens with and without bluetooth on.

It's annoying as can be. Seems like there have been others with the same problem (but in the past), still can't figure out if it's a problem on the app's side or mine. Suggestions?
