WHY DOESNT MY MUSIC WANNA PLAY?!

About 2wks ago, I tried listening to my spotify tracks but the music didn't wanna play. The screen shows Thqt the song is running, but no music actually plays. At 1st, I thought it was my phone, but wen I try using other music programs I can actually hear the music, whereas with spotify I can't. None of the songs wanna play and I've tried logging out and back in but that doesn't seem to work either. Any advice would be much appreciated

I'm using an Android EVO 3D

Have you restarted your phone? This has solved the issue before

Actually I shut the phone off, took the battery out and put it back in and that seemed to do the trick. Thanks for all the help
