My Question or Issue 

 

  • even though the Auto Play icon is ON, once the current song done to play, it won't go to next song automatically

Thanks for your reply and for all the info shared.

 

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info, is this happening on another account on the affected device? It’d be awesome if you could check. You can ask for the account of a relative or a friend to open it in your device and check.

 

On another note, is this happening over WiFi? 3G/4G? Both? Do you notice any difference if you switch the internet red you're using?
 

Just to confirm, is this just happening when the app is playing in the background or does it happen when you maintain the app open as well? If you're not sure, it'd be awesome if you can check.

 

Lastly, we'd like to know, is there an external SD card installed on your device? If so, remove it and reinstall the app in the internal memory of your device. Make sure to use the app without inserting the SD card again.

im the only one using Spotify in my family, so i cant ask other to use their account on my device.. sorry.

 

happen on both WiFi & Cellular ( 3G / 4G )

 

if i maintain the app open in background i can play it continuously, if i close it & play it on widget media it wont play on next song like video i sent.. so i had to keep spotify on background in order to play it continuously.

 

no, there's no external SD on my phone.. all apps installed on my internal storage.

Thanks for the reply and the troubleshooting tried so far.

 

Could you create a new account for testing purposes and give it a try?

 

We think that this issue may be related to the manufacturer of your phone. Could you try a different mobile device and see if this issue still persists?

hi, im happy to inform that after updated to ver 8.7.92.521 earlier i can play next song like before..

 

 

so, i dont need to create new account right??

I clean reinstalled the app 3 times today and I have the same problem.

Just to make sure, so we don't repeat ourselves, have you tried the other steps provided by the mods in this thread?

Could you tell us what version of Spotify you are running, what device you are experiencing this on and what version of the Operating system the device is running.
