Disable album autoplay on mac desktop impossible again?

Every half a year some marketing person pushes their KPI and reinstates autoplay under the new name.

Now clicking an album in artist discography leads to full track listing that play from current album till the end of selected discography subset. To work this around you need to "see all", click album and only then you can play single album.

What the flying **bleep**? Did they forget what usability and principles of least surprise are? Clicking on identical controls should produce identical actions.

Is there any way to opt out of this broken mode and just get to album when clicking on album? Stopping album after the last song by hand doesn't count.
