My spotify is not playing music inthe background even when I have the option on, in setting

I have a premium account, and when I try to play music while using other apps, or with my phone locked, it stops playing after a 20 or 30 seconds. I have deleted and reinstall the app, didn't work. I tried deleting cache, it didn't work. I tried turning off and back on the option to play music while not in the app, didn't work.
