Random Playlist removal...bug?

Hi everyone,

Today I was in the mood to listen to Bruno Mars - so I went to my library to find those discography playlists that Spotify creates for artists. But it was completely gone, and when I used to search feature to find it, I saw that the playlist had been 'unfavorited' (but not by me). Also, the 'like' count of the playlist was drastically lower than before, which makes me think that maybe it's not just me...has this happened to others too? I have a feeling that it's a bug of some sort.

Salutations olofi, so it's possible that this is a bug with the Spotify app or service, or that the playlist was removed or modified by the playlist creator or by Spotify themselves. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check if the playlist is still available by searching for it in the Spotify app. If the playlist has been deleted, it will not be available anymore. If the playlist is still available, try to add it to your library again and see if it stays.

  2. Check if the playlist is still available on other devices where you have the Spotify app installed. This will help you determine if the issue is specific to one device or if it is a widespread issue.

  3. Check if there are any updates available for the Spotify app on your device. Updating the app may resolve any bugs or issues that are causing the problem.

  4. Contact Spotify support to report the issue. They may be able to provide more information on why the playlist is not showing up in your library or help you restore the playlist.

  5. As a workaround, you can create a new playlist for Bruno Mars by searching for his songs and adding them to a new playlist.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue and get back to listening to your favorite music!
