i cant play music while playing roblox

so i was playing roblox like always, i had music on because i get bored but now it wont work? multiple people had had this problem before, idk how to fix it please tell me and ill try my best 😞

Im on iphone 12.. the only way it would work for me is if i had earbuds to connect to my phone than pressing the play button on the earbuds.  Im sure it works on airpods too ?

**bleep** it Just happened today to me,yesterday I went on Roblox and played evade with music with no problem now when I turn on the song and go into a game in it,it turn off but when I scroll to the top thing and turn it on then go back on the game it STILL doesn’t work.Roblox needs to fix this💀

There is a way to listen to spotify, however this requires those headphones with a cord which have the add volume and lower volume buttons.

Ugh same and I used to be able to do the thing where you just swipe down and press play again but it’s not working

This is an issue on Roblox's end. It's somehow related to voice chat and the phone-call audio system. On IOS devices specifically, every time that the voice chat inside of Roblox "reloads" it will pause any music to make sure that the "Phone-call" is top priority. On other devices it may do something similar, on my PC running Windows 11, when using a wireless headset, I'll notice that many times Spotify's music will sound extremely low quality. There doesn't seem to be any fix that I know of, I don't know how to put everything into better words. The only solution I know of is to just listen from a different device unfortunately.

it’s just an ios feature that turns off background noise if what you’re currently on makes noise. i don’t think there’s a way to change it 💔

i’ve found that if you wear headphones that have touch features on the headphones themselves, after you enter roblox and the music pauses, unpause the music with your headphones! it works for me with my sony xm4’s

It is because of voice chat. Your phone thinks that when the microphone is in use or is available for use that your in some sort of call and stops other media. Go into a game with no voice chat with music on and you'll see it doesn't stop at all. I don't know how to fix this though

Its a Roblox issue. Try with headphones, then when u go to roblox and the music pauses just press the button on your headphones to play

It does work on the same device just use Bluetooth headphones and press the play button to start the music after you play it normal and then when it pauses do the play button thing with headphones! It works for me but I have Goodmen's headphones Bluetooth!!!

if u have two devices on the same account link the device ur not using to the device ur using when ur music fades hit the play button on the device ur not playing roblox on 🙂
