Where did the info screen go?

Solved!

Where did the info screen go?

When you return to the infoscreen in the Polestar 2, currently running P2.5 on the car, and the newest Spotify according to Google Play Store.
There's no information anymore, telling you that it is Spotify that's playing, and what song.

I mean this infoscreen:

No, is installed on the Android Automotive. It hasn't anything with that to do.

I have the similar problem. Spotify plays but the information is incorrect and when you change track, the incorrect information remains on the screen on my 2015 Audi TT.  The old version works fine, but the current update has not worked properly on my car display system.

Hey there @MauTt

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community.

First up, we suggest that you check if the software of your car's infotainment system is up to date. It's also worth checking if the Spotify app's running the latest version.

You can also try restarting your your car's infotainment system to see if makes the difference.

If none of these steps work, we'll make sure to pass this info onto the right team, as we always strive to improve your experience. In the meantime, we recommend keeping the app up to date so you don't miss out on any possible improvements or fixes.

If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

I got the same issue, the problem isn't the car system. I had an older version on my old phone which didn't have the display issues. It's the update with the Spotify that's the problem.

Hey @MauTt,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm assuming you're using Android Auto so I've checked in my car but couldn't reproduce the issue. Can you see if you get the same behavior with podcasts? What about a different phone?

If the issue persists, let us know the model, OS version and Spotify version of the affected devices and if possible, send us a short video of how things look on your end so we can investigate further.

Keep us posted.
