Album “playlists”

Note - looks like others have suggested this but the link Spotify provided to look at the other idea didn’t work.

Create a “playlist” of albums (maybe better to call it a “Collection”).

The “album” has existed since at least 1938. For some reason Spotify largely ignores it as a fundamental of music publishing and artist creativity.

Use cases

- Transfer vinyl collection to Spotify

- Transfer CD collection to Spotify

- Create artist back-catalog collection at the album level

- Create genre lists at the album level

- Create themed lists at album level

- Enable playback of whole albums easily from saved collections

additional “nice to have” features 

- enable shuffle play, repeat play, skip etc at the album level not just the song level

- read album “sleeve notes”
