[Subscription] Military / Forces Discount

Spotify currently offer students a 50% discount, yet no forces discount. Spotify should introduce a forces discount for current serving members of the armed forces.

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange.

 

We've discussed this idea and while it is interesting, we aren't able to prioritize it and don't have any immediate plans to implement this. We will let you know if this changes in the future.

Military members and veterans should get access to the Spotify catalog at reduced cost because they basically deserve it. Go ‘Murica 

 

Cuz like we deserve it and get**bleep** at that volunteer job.

I see there is a way to get a discount for US serving soldiers/airmen etc.

 

Has there been any thought of applying this to the UK? 

 

and to include veterans that served both countries.

 

Not many 'Big' companies do veterans discounts so should Spotify lead by example?

Military and First Responders put their lives on the line daily in order to protect and serve the American people. Students have a discounted plan but not Military and First Responders who sacrifice daily so that others may enjoy the freedoms and luxuries we have in the United States. When looking into this issue I have see multiple suggestions and recommendations for this to be enacted but there has been no follow through for over twelve years now. I am recommending this be brought up and approved due to the massive amount of opportunities for expanding customer base, fostering competitive marketing setting Spotify apart from other music streaming services, and showing support for the men and women who fight to uphold the values which we hold dear to every day.

I am an active-duty member of the United States Air Force currently deployed overseas, and I’m requesting consideration for a military discount for service members, veterans, Guard, and Reserve. Many companies use ID.me for secure verification, and Spotify already offers a student discount using a similar method.

 

Music is a huge morale booster for deployed personnel and service members away from home. A discount program would go a long way for the military community worldwide.
