[Web] Crossfade and/or Gapless Playback on Web?

Right now, Spotify’s web player lacks both gapless playback and crossfade, making it impossible to enjoy live albums, concept records, or even smooth transitions between songs. Every track ends with an awkward pause, completely disrupting the flow—something Spotify’s desktop and mobile apps handle just fine. (It’s frustrating to start an album on the web player, only to realize I have to switch to the app for the proper experience.)

This needs to change. The web player should offer the same core listening features as other versions of Spotify. Adding gapless playback and a crossfade option would bring consistency to the platform and make the web player a truly viable way to enjoy music. If other streaming services can do it, why can’t Spotify?
