A: This can happen for a number of reasons:

- You often leave Spotify playing in the background--it can be easy to miss what’s playing.

Q: What criteria do I need to meet receive the personalized playlist “Your Top Songs 2018” in Browse?

I received my 2018 Wrapped list today, and you've listed as my top artist a band that I've never heard of and have no memory of ever listening to.  The 2nd place artist is at least familiar, but they were hardly my second-most-played performer.   How can this be?

My top songs list seems very accurate and serves as proof to my protest: my supposed "favorite artist" is nowhere to be seen on it.  (My "2nd favorite artist" has only one entry, the 57th most played song on the list.) How can I receive a corrected "Wrapped"?  I look forward to this every year, and this is a real disappointment.

This would have been awesome if the white noise playlists/artists were removed. My top song is a white noise song??? Of course it will since it plays all nighy but its not my actual top songs. Little disappointed in this.

I got the email and the Tastebreakers playlist, but I can't find my Top Songs 2018 playlist? It's not anywhere on the Wrapped site nor on Spotify itself 😞

I checked the Spotify Wrapped website and it listed accurate "most listened to" artists and songs; however, on the playlist itself it has no songs whatsoever from these artists. Instead, I have songs I listened to maybe once or twice, and all my favorites are gone. I listened to one band for an astonishing 48 hours, and none of their songs are on my Wrapped playlist. I'm bummed, since I look forward to listening to the Wrapped playlists every year.

I have compared the Wrapped website and my playlist on Spotify app. The discrepancies are high, such as my No. 5 song is 64th in the playlist. In FAQs, it states that the playlist is slightly mixed to help it flow better. Unfortunately, it is not true as my playlist is messy. I believe that listeners wish to have the option to know their actual order of their Top 100, instead of listening to songs that are not truly their top 100 songs.

hey guys! i have similar problem. my account got hacked recently and it **bleep** my top5 artists and top 5 songs (some of them). only 2 of my top 5 are artists that i actually listen to, the rest, i never heard of. im also 100% sure i didnt let anyone listen to some unknown chinese DJ for 10 hours straight on my account. your support wasnt able to help me, but it really bothers me since i love your Wrapped every year.

any suggestions how it is fixable? can you delete certain artists from accounts history?

Casual Listener

Why doesn't this year's wrapped include how many total different artists we listened to (and how many of  them were new artists)?? I loved this feature! Anyway to find out now?

My Top Songs of 2018 playlist definitely did not seem like a list of my most played songs, and it included some songs I know I barely listened to. I think I preferred versions in years past, where the playlist was just a straight-up ranking of your most-played tracks throughout the year! Please consider bringing that back for next year 😄

Sorry, but no. I have never heard some of my top songs in my life. I even checked my playlists and saved songs. Those top songs don't show up. I'm severely dissappointed that my "top song" is a song I have never even heard of in my life.

My numbers look way lower than they should be. I listen to most of my music through Sonos speakers which I control with the Sonos Controller App. I listen and control Spotify through that App and it seems as though Spotify does not add in that data.

Anyone else noticing that?

My list includes a lot of songs I don't recall listening to, and I'd like to remove them from the list, but I don't see a way to do it. Clicking the three dots on the song doesn't give me a "remove from playlist" option, and I see no way to thumbs-down or ban the song. I'm using the web interface on my desktop, because the desktop application is slower than whale dung. Any suggestions?

The top 5 songs that were listed in my 2018 Wrapped browser page did not match the top 5 songs on the actual 2018 Wrapped playlist I was provided. I know I'm not the only person experiencing this problem, and I know I didn't leave my Spotify running or let someone else listen to it. That's an obvious error on Spotify's part for providing an incorrect playlist, especially to so many people who look forward to this every year. I hope Spotify finds a way to fix this error/glitch as soon as possible.

I have a sleep playlist that I listen to everynight so every year my yearly totals are all from my sleep playlist (top played song, artist, genre, etc.) so I never get to see my ACTUAL totals from listening to my daily music. Is there a way to not include a certain playlist or songs on your yearly totals?

Spotify people please fix our Top 2018 playlist. Don't make us wait for next year. 😞

2018 playlist does not include my top 5 songs.

I have a similar problem! My top 2018 playlist consists of songs I have never listened to and my Spotify Wrapped whole statistics is wrong.

"You spent 0 hours with your favorite artist Miley Cyrus, and the pleasure was all theirs. In fact, you're in top 44% of their fans worldwide." I'm sorry but this doesn't sound right at all. Firstly, I don't recall listening to Miley Cyrus, secondly, how can someone be my favorite artists if I have listened to them for 0 hours. She must be doing pretty bad if I spend 0 hours listening to her and I'm in top 44% of her fans....

I haven't listened to any of those songs that are listed as my top 5 songs. I loved my 2017 playlist and I hope this year's one will get fixed soon!

2018 playlist does not include my top 5 songs.

Unfortunately, the Top 100 Playlists are flat out wrong for some users. It's not a matter of leaving on spotify while I'm away or sharing my account. My Top 5 Arists/Songs is what I would expect but then my Top 100 Playlist doesn't have a single song from my Top 5? How is that possible if the Top 100 isn't wrong? Sorry but your Top 100 algorithm messed up for a lot users and should be looked into by the team.

Not sure why, but the image at the end on page 11 isn't showing up. It is just a black box. Kind of bums me out. Wanted to share it with friends. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

Hey, me & my friend’s spotify playlists are TOTALLY innacurate to what we listen to. I get so excited waiting the entire year to get this & tastebreaker’s playlist. But our 2018 playlists are entirely wrong. This needs fixing! Please help the spotify community get it back on track!
