Albums not yet on Spotify

For some of the artists I listen to, some of there music isn't available on Spotify, for instance Mushroomhead's "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children", "The Righteous and the Butterfly", "XX", Alkaline Trio's "Love Love, Kiss Kiss (acoustic)" are not available, one song from "The Righteous and the Butterfly" is streamable, but not the rest of the album. Is it an issue with trying to attain the albums and single?

Whilst Spotify would gladly make all those albums available, artists/labels/legal owners (who have control over their content) may make their music unavailable for some reason, such as licensing matters.
However, you may ask the artist/label about the albums on Spotify. 🙂
