Hi there,
Thanks for posting this thread in the Community and welcome!
We'll need some more info in order to investigate why this is happening and if the content is possibly unavailable at the moment. To start, did you notice when the songs stopped playing (if it was after something specific) and if it happens across devices?
Keep in mind that if you're using a VPN this can cause issues and it's recommended that you disable it.
Since you mentioned that you're unable to play almost all (but not all) of Ariana Grande's songs, could you double-check and let us know if these specific tracks are marked as explicit content? Are you also unable to play other music from other artists?
When explicit content is switched off, anything with an explicit tag is grayed out. You can’t play it, and it’s automatically skipped. I also recommend that you check the info under 'Premium Family explicit filter' if you're on the Family plan.
Appreciate the cooperation and we'll be on the lookout for your response 🙂
Hey @napqweennn,
Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.
Just to confirm, does this happen across devices or only on a specific one? Also, does this happen with the downloaded content or when you're streaming as well?
On another note, we'd recommend you double-check if you followed these specific steps to enable the explicit content.
If so and it didn't make any difference, we suggest you try logging out and then logging back in to your account twice in a row.
If the issue persists, could you check if the same happens with other content as well?
Keep us posted.

Hey! I'm also experiencing the exact same problem! Majority of ariana's explicit song can't be played, despite enabling the explicit content feature in my settings and I am of age. My current plan is the student individual plan. Been trying to resolve this issue for days.

Hi!
All of Ariana Grande’s songs are not available on my Spotify account. I do have the explicit tracks enabled. I’m based in Qatar. What’s the fix for this?
Hey @Annasese,
Thanks for joining the conversation!
Can you confirm if this is happening across all your devices or only in a specific one? Could you let us know if this is the only affected artist or have you noticed other artists without any available song?
In addition to the above, we'd also recommend making sure you're not using a VPN since this could be causing issues.
Keep us posted on how it goes.
Hello
my VPN is switched off. I only use Spotify on my phone. And Ariana is the only artist so far that doesn’t let play on my premium account.
Thanks for the reply, @Annasese!
Are you getting any error message when you try to play these songs or are they all just greyed out?
Could you send over the exact Spotify version you're currently running, along with your phone's make, model and exact OS version?
We'll be on the lookout.
Hi again @Annasese,
This is odd. We've checked from our end and the content should be available.
Remember to send over the exact Spotify version running on your phone. It'd also be helpful if you could send some screenshots where we can take a better look at what you're seeing on your end.
In addition to the above, we understand you've said you only use Spotify on your phone. However, if you could test this using a different device (such as a friend's or relative's phone, or a computer), it would help us narrow down the cause even further.
We'll be here.
I am having the exact same problem. iOS 18.5, version 9.0.50.511
Hey @Lexsolofs,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.
Just to make sure we're on the same page, have you already tried to perform a clean reinstall of the app on your device? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article.
If the issue persists, would you mind using a different high-speed Wi-Fi network to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.
Lastly, since we couldn't replicate the issue, it would be great if you could include a screenshot in your next response of how things look on your end.
Keep us posted.
