They should remove that useless compilation album, which is indeed causing all the problems...
I cannot BELIEVE this is still an issue.
I was listening to the album 1492: Conquest of Paradise by Vangelis on Spotify. I remember that the original has seamless transitions between the tracks, but that is not the case with the tracks available on Spotify. It seems that a few seconds of audio has been cut out from the end of some tracks, for instance the transition between track 2 and 3. In the original, you will hear sounds from the start of track 3 at the end of track 2. This is perhaps not a big deal for people of today who are mainly listening to playlists and not complete albums, but I can't say I like this. I was able to find the album like it was meant to be on YouTube, though.
Does it make any difference when you try 'crossfade x seconds' and/or automix in your settings?
Just wanted to let people here know that Pink Floyd finally uploaded the whole discography with correct masters/versions of tracks for each album (as far as I can tell). Just look for the versions that don't have the "(2011 Remastered Version)" or similar tags. They haven't removed the old incorrect versions, but I hope they will soon. Anyways, good news. Pink Floyd is finally listenable on Spotify!
Here in UK, the intro into "The Happiest Days of Our Lives" still contains the outro of "See Emily Play" (Dec 27, 2024) 😞
That's a shame. I hope it will be corrected in the UK soon.
The albums Black Sabbath and Sabotage have messed up transitions between songs Sleeping Village and Warning, and between Am I Going Insane (Radio) and The Writ, respectively. The transitions should be seamless:

I believe the masters for Warning and Am I Going Insane (Radio) used on these two albums are sourced from the compilation We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'N' Roll where the tracks are edited:

Please, fix this as soon as possible.
