My Question or Issue

Since yesterday I am not able to play music with Spotify, neither in the desktop app on Ubuntu Linux, nor on Android or in the browser (Chrome and Firefox). The desktop app stays black and doesn't show anything, on Android I can see my library and the Browse section, but when selecting an album it tries to load it but fails with an error message "Irgendwas ist schiefgelaufen". In the browser I can select albums, but it doesn't matter what music I select, it doesn't get played. The play buttons seem to react, but don't process the request. I tried re-installing the apps on Linux and Android, but to no effect.

Since this is a device-independent problem I guess it has to do with my account. What can I do to verify that or who is able to check that?

Hey @pgoetz,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

Are all the devices you're using connected to the same network? If yes, then can you try using mobile data/hotspot to see if you're still getting this error?

Let us know how it goes.

Take care

Thank you so much for your reply, Yordan. I was away from my office this week and could only test it today. You were right, it seems to have been a network issue, because now it works. I don't know what problem my network had, as this has never happened. Sorry for the trouble and thanks a lot for your help!
