Does anyone else think the spotify algorithm is getting worse?

My Question or Issue

Ive had spotify for over 10 years. For so long I was constantly being fed new great music.

But the last few years ive noticed that spotify is just starting to loop me the same handful of artists and songs. It doesnt seem to matter what I do, how many times I skip a song or even "hide song" it will just keep feeding me the same stuff. 

The recommended song list, at the end of my most used playlist, has had the same few songs there for YEARS. I refresh it every time I open the same playlist and then the next time I return to it its just the same junk. For well over a year now I have been actively skipping and "hiding" songs and artists that continue to be played but it doesnt matter how many times i do that the same stuff pops up again

It doesnt seem to just be me having this issue, all of my friends seem to be in the same boat. And if you listen to remotely the same genre of music and someone else spotify feeds them almost the exact music that they feed me

And for the record I use spotify alot. Last year I had something like 60,000 min of listening to music.
