I used have unlimited skips on my daily mixes, what happened?

On my spotify homepage, I have daily mixes and top mixes. Before, I used to have unlimited skips (only for the mixes, not other playlists). Now they are shuffled like any other playlist. Does anyone know what happened? Can I change it back?

Hey there!

This behaviour looks like a part of an ongoing test where folks on the free tier now have a skip limit 🙂
If this is the case though, you should be able to skip a few tracks each day.
Could you check & confirm if this is true in your situation?

I encountered this Spotify glitch? maybe two years ago and it has now stopped working, for the past two years I’ve been able to have unlimited skips and choose whatever song I wanted. It was like I had premium even though I definitely do not have it. And this was on my phone too which was a shock because I’m aware that on an iPad or computer you have those luxuries but not on phone. Has this issue been like fixed? If so it sucks, was really enjoying have those available to me. 

edit: I believe this glitch came from fiddling with the connection between phone and computer and PlayStation.

Similar yes but not the same, as I previously mentioned this has been accessible to me for two years, unless this has been a test for that long.

Hey there im having the same issue! I chatted with 4 agents for 4 hours straight and they haven’t answered why exactly this is happening to me. My friends are not experiencing this at all. This is literally becoming the downfall of Spotify!
