If I am muting the browser volume, does the stream count

Spotify won’t be able to share the exact info on how streams are counted in order to prevent manipulation, however, what we can say is that on Spotify, a stream counts when someone listens to a track for 30 seconds or more. With this said, playing a song for at least 30 seconds if your browser is muted should count as a stream.
