My Question or Issue

An album from a particular artist has recently been removed.

Artist: Marduk

Album: Panzer Division

The album was present sometime between now and the past fortnight. 

Can someone please confirm whether or not the album will be reinstated? If not, I'll be cancelling my subscription.

Same here in Germany. Bring Panzer Division back. Or at least point out the exact reason for the removal, backed by some evidence. And just some gut feeling**bleep** isn’t a reason.

Very strange there's still no official explanation. Frontschwein is still available but no cover art. As far as I'm aware Panzer Division is still unavailable. Really tempted to cancel Spotify subscription, but it's still just really handy to use. Plus besides music you also get access to podcasts, some even exclusive to Spotify. Can't always spent money on every album I wanna listen to, and that's where Spotify is still useful. Do prefer buying albums though.

I've been using Tidal for over 12 months now and I no longer have censorship problems. I used this tool to transfer my playlists.

Another day where I was aching for some Panzerdivision goodness. I could not take it anymore so I wrote an email to Osmose Productions. They just confirmed that this is NOT a licensing issue but a censorship issue! I will try to confirm with Spotify but then that is it for me. I don't need a multi billion tech company to dictate what I can or can not listen to. Despicable if true especially considering it is a Swedish company. I won't keep supporting a company that does not value freedom of speech like I do. Say no to fascism!

Hey Spotify, if your censoring things that some of your subscribers find offensive, please remove the entirety of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' as it is much clearer example of dangerous hate speech than a black metal album from 25 years ago.

Bring panzer division back!!! Why not just add an age restriction or warning that it might be offensive instead of censorship, a black metal album from 25 years ago is not offending anyone.

Spotify kept repeating the same thing:

They keep claiming it is the rights owners who cause it but the rights owners say it is not true

Maybe if they altered the cover to this it would be ok to go back up?
