Playing same playlist on different chrome accounts/browsers. Will it count as different streams ?

I have different browsers/chrome accounts on my laptop. I play the same playlist on all accounts. Will those count as different streams from each account?

Hey @Karamara33,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Could you please clarify a bit more for us what accounts you're talking about? Are you streaming with one Spotify account on two Google Chrome accounts? Or perhaps you meant something else?

Keep in mind that your streaming data includes songs, podcasts and audiobooks that you stream via your Spotify account.

Hope this helps. We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Hi again.

I couldn't log in so have to use another account. I have 2 chrome accounts with different profiles and each with different spotify accounts. I wonder when i stream from those 2 accounts simultaneously if i use the same playlist on both accounts and will the songs that is playing simultaneously count as different streams?

Hey @Msi1812,

Thanks for the reply!

If you're streaming from different Spotify accounts, the streams will be counted separately for each account, even if you're playing tracks from the same playlist.

We hope this clear things up! Cheers.
