Podcast randomly plays in 7+ hour music playlist??

I put music on before bed to help me sleep at 1:00am, the playlist I put on is 90s sleep music and is over 7 hours long. Now, at 6:30am, it randomly started playing a podcast by a content creator that can only be described as a sexist and a racist who was talking about Trump. I live in Canada, I don’t want to listen to how “Trump won” and “Make America great again”. I don’t listen to podcasts on Spotify at all as I honestly just don’t like podcasts. So why would Spotify randomly start playing this podcast and is there some way I can prevent it from happening again? If not I’m most likely ending my subscription.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

This is indeed very odd. Can you send us a link to the playlist in questions and let us know if it's a Collaborative playlist and if it's Private or Public?

One possible reason I can think of is that the playlist ended and Autoplay has played the podcast episode, but that shouldn't normally happen, as Autoplay will play only songs when it starts from a music playlist.

We'll look into this for you 🙂
