My Question or Issue

I recently made a new account that is a premium duo. Keep in mind I’m not the one that is paying for the plan if that has anything to do with the problem. On my old account which was just premium, I could shuffle playlists, albums, and artists. However on my new account the shuffle button completely disappeared. Thank you.

Could you post a screenshot of where you're looking for the Shuffle button? There were some design changes not long ago and we want to make sure you're looking for it in the right place. We can guide you afterwards.

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the screenshot you shared.

To make sure this is not caused by any damaged cache, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might cause trouble. 

Also, we'd recommend forcing the sync between your device and your account by logging out and logging back in twice. 

If the issue persists, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

Hi all, 

I have the exact same issue. Oddly only on my daughter's iPad. 

We have a premium family account and the shuffle button is present on all our phones, including my daughter's, but it has vanished from her iPad. 

I've tried the above steps of clearing the cache, deleting the app and reinstalling, and signing out and in twice but still no luck. 

The version of Spotify that's loaded onto her tablet from the app store is.

Any other ideas?
