The Get Up ... lighten up!

I've been a daily The Get Up listener since day one. I love the format. I love the hosts. Kat, Speedy & X are the goods. 

BUT ... it seems like nearly every segment devolves into a deep, heavy conversation about marginalized communities. I support BLM, I support justice.  But, damn, i just woke up.  It makes sense in the news portion of the show, but every segment?

C'mon. Lighten up. I haven't had my coffee yet.

I'll give it a few more weeks, since I love the crew, but if it doesn't ease up on heavy race-relations at 7am, I'm taking my ears elsewhere.
