Why are New Releases sections being replaced with Playlists?

Why are New Releases sections being replaced with Playlists?

Today I went into the Jazz Section and the New Releases section has disappeared. All that is left if playlists. Why? I don't want Spotify to leave me me with no choice but to listen to a playlist that someone else decided the content for. Why is it such a pain to list the new releases as they are released and then let me choose?
If Spotify wants to (or their record company owners force them) to make playlists fine, but let me have the option to ignore them.

Hey there @RagnarBeszerker

Thanks for reaching out about this and welcome to the Community!

We understand where you're coming from. We can confirm that our hubs are updated often so hopefully the new releases section in the Jazz Hub will come back soon. For now, we suggest checking the Discover Hub where you might find suggested new releases.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us and will make sure to pass it onto the right team, as we always strive to improve your experience.

Hope this clears things up. If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

This answer is dismissive. It didn't answer my question. Removing New Releases and steering users towards playlists that record companies and shareholders control, limits my ability to find music that I like and forces me to listen to music selected by someone else. I hate it and am looking into other music streaming services. I'll dump Spotify as soon as I can find a better service.

I agree and I tried to "chat" with a live agent who told me to delete the cache, app, and reinstall. That obviously won't fix the fact that I can't see ALL releases, just whatever they handpick. I don't consistently monitor artists, so I enjoyed the fact that I could go through ALL releases and see if a single/album was dropped by someone that I like or even let me see another genre that I normally wouldn't listen to (ex: I listen to mostly hip hop/Latin music but I saw Paramore released something and if it weren't for All releases, I wouldn't know since it's not in my everyday rotation but I do like some of their songs). We are now restricted by what they think we want to hear.
