I noticed a photo of mine was used as a cover image for a song and the artist has no right over it and never asked for permission. I want the photo taken down

I'm sorry about that. But don't worry, Spotify has a Copyright Infringement Form where you can report unauthorized use of your content.

Go to Spotify Copyright Claim Form.

Then, fill in your details and describe the issue. You should provide a link to the song and the cover image as well.

Submit the form and wait for the response.
