none of the music i listen to is similar to him, the closest thing is like animal collective lol. i know your algorithm knows what kind of music so this is clearly just an undisguised ad and not a "recommendation" at all. i have premium, i shouldn't be getting ads

Did you receive the recommendation in the desktop or the mobile app? It's possible that it was for a new release, so search in the app's settings for Show announcements about new releases and toggle it off. You can also check out your notification settings on your account page to see if everything looks good in there.
