My Question or Issue

My spotify install (installed via snap) keeps sporadically breaking and has to be reinstalled to start working again. It fails with: internal error, please report: running "spotify" failed: cannot find installed snap "spotify" at revision 36: missing file /var/lib/snapd/snap/spotify/36/meta/snap.yaml

Try uninstalling spotify:

snap remove spotify

then delete these folders (caches...) recursively with rm -r:

/var/lib/snapd/snap/spotify
/var/snap/spotify

~/snap/spotify

make sure they're gone and then try installing again:

snap install spotify

Hopefully, that'll do the trick,

Cheers,
