as the title says, when can we expect an update for the Linux client that supports the new "My Music" functionality?
I know it's only a preview at the moment but I'm sure I'm not the only one to use Spotify on both Linux and Windows.
It has been a while since the last update.
It is already available for download. http://repository-origin.spotify.com/pool/non-free/s/spotify/
However I tried it and it's still too bad and outdated compared to Windows. I downloaded older version as I can't find new one. My version was today Linux Preview. Maybe it was new, black version at least. But really not so stunning. A way too outdated. New one I tried once, it was a way better and w/o Linux Preview on it, but still not perfect. The newest one I can't find how to download where was Lyrics button also.
I will uninstall Spotify. On Android Spotify is stunning, I use it here with full enjoy. On Linux no same feel.
But really it's hard to install and even harder to uninstall. Now I need to reinstall the whole system 😞 All this is very true!
It's ok to say thank you for Linux app, but it's not ok when you need a lifetime lectures in "How-to install Spotify on Linux" and still unable to understand a thing. The links with apps, these are outdated. No one will update thesem even if there's newer version.
I will never install Spotify to my Linux after clean reinstall of system. That I promise!

What linux distro are you running?
On Ubuntu it's really easy:
https://www.spotify.com/au/download/previews/
4 commands? To uninstall it's 'sudo apt-get remove spotify-client'
Hi!

deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free
And when I try to open the URL in browser I get a 403.
what linux distro are you using?
