[Linux] spotify crash in daily mix

[Linux] spotify crash in daily mix

  1. Your device and operating system:    Debian 9 stretch
  2. Type of Spotify account you have (Free/ Premium):    Free
  3. The app version of Spotify you’re using:    1.0.44.100.ga60c0ce1-89
  4. A brief description of the issue:    Open Spotify and click "Your daily mix", client crashed after about 5 seconds.
  5. Steps to reproduce the issue:
  • Open Spotify
  • Click "Your daily mix"
  • Client crashes after about 5 seconds
  • If I start Spotify from terminal, I can see information "Spotify terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)"

6. Attach the spotify-dump.txt ( $HOME/spotify-dump.txt ) from Advanced troubleshooting

7. The daily mix is not crash the client in the other Debian 9 stretch machine. But in the "problem" machine, tried to delete .config/spotify, .cache/spotify, and completely remove Spotify and reinstall, these methods just didn't work.

Update: after upgrade to premium, the client not crash at daily mix anymore. It's just... wired.
