Now Spotify For Linux only provides one way to be installed on other distributions, which is snap, but snap is often criticized for its various issues. Other community versions, such as aur and flatpak, have issues with outdated updates, which can be really troublesome in many cases.  It is hoped that the official can provide more package formats for us to install, such as the most common deb and rpm versions.
