My Question or Issue

I am not able to change a song's position inside a playlist anymore.

When I try to drag a song to another position in one of my existing playlists, while dragging, there is no visible line indicating a new position target. When I drop the song item, I get an "already added" dialog instead.

The solution to the resolved windows issue "Cannot drag songs to top of the queue" https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/Cannot-drag-songs-to-top-of-the-queue/m-p/5404259#M... suggests to drag the song to the arrow buttons instead, but there are no arrow buttons in the current linux client (Spotify version 1.2.22.982.g794acc0a).

Hey @fraktalisman

It seems that rearranging songs in a playlist is not possible when the Enhance mode is turned on. I notice that Enhance is turned on in your playlist.

However, it is possible to drag&drop songs in a playlist where Enhance is disabled. So I suggest turning off Enhance for a bit to make your desired adjustments, and then turn the feature back on : )

Hope this helps, have a lovely day!

Thanks for your help! I don't remember turning on Enhance, but that also explains some tracks that I don't remember adding to the playlist. I turned off enhance and now everything works as expected again.
