SPOTIFY IS ALWAYS OPENED

my Spotify is always open on all desktops. Even when I open a new Desktop space Spotify will be opened. All my other Programs stay on one desktop, that's the way I want my Programs to stay. Can I change it somehow?  It's really annoying.

how are you currently setting spotify to open?
* are you opening it manually?
* are you setting it to open on a new xsession (which could probably cause this, if each desktop is opening its own xsession)?
* are you opening it automatically via another mechanism?
