Hey @o_mestre

I feel running Spotify like that is very prone to becoming dysfunctional upon any update. It probably runs well as specific older versions, I don't know.
I don't know what issue you have with the linux client, but maybe using the web player could be of use? 🙂

Have a nice day!

I am actualy in the process of going back to Windows atm. after 13 years of Linux exclusivly. Not only because of Spotify, but other problems like that.
The webplayer is limited in quality, and has no normalization, too.
BTW: the normalization is also the problem for me in the Linux client

Ah, alright. Yeah, Linux is a wonderful place to be, but sometimes the hassle becomes too real. Hope Windows will serve you well!

I saw the other thread of yours about settings not working quite right, and it seems to be the case on my end too, at least on the new version, and i don't know if there's a way to fix or work around this. The older version (1.1.10) I'm also using works fine as far as I'm aware.

Have a nice day!

funny you are saying that you have similar problems. On other linux forums I couldn't find anybody confirming it on their machines which only added to my confusion. I can't even imagine the root of the problem.

I like Linux a lot, but at the end it is a hobby cause when you need to be productive/creative it takes too much time to figure things out.
thank god Win became much more reliable the last 13 years, and my PC faster lol.
