Clearing my queue

I see the small icon at the bottom right of the Spotify screen, but when I click on it, all I see is my queue. I don't see an option to delete items from the queue or to edit the cue.

I am using the free version on a Macbook.

Hello there,

There is actually no option/button to clear the queue. To empty a list of queued tracks you have to select the block of songs then to right clcik and select 'remove from queue'

Note :

In the Play queue, the section Next Tracks is not the same as Queued Tracks.

The section Next Tracks is filled with the songs of the playlist or album you have started to play and coming after the current track playling.

You can also add to queue any song from anywhere by right clicking on title and select 'add to queue'

If when you start a playlist or album you still have songs in your "queued tracks"" they will play in priority after the 1st new one you started.

HOW DO I select a block of songs?!!! This sh*t drives me insane...

Hello again,

1 - Highlight the 1st song of the block (1 left click)

2 - Hold shift and hit "arrow down" (on keybord) till the end of the block

3 - Once all the block is selected : right click inside the selection and select : remove from queue

There is one way of clearing the queue. Uninstall Spotify and then reinstall it......the problem with that, even though it works everytime is that I'm am getting so sick that one day I just won't put it back on. And that day is coming!

I've Googled this topic and this problem goes back till at least 2012 and there is STILL no delete button. It's like the they don't care. This is something that people are desperate to have. I'm really getting to the point where I think enough is enough. It's not like there isn't anything else out there and Apple have just joined the market so maybe the time has come for a change.....
