Mac desktop spotify not recognizing / syncing when I'm playing music on my phone or Alexa; speakers not showing up in devices. Version Spotify for macOS (Apple Silicon)

Thanks for your reply and the screenshots shared. 

We'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind clarifying to us what type of device is not syncing with your computer? Is it a mobile device? If yes, please send us the make/model and OS along with the exact Spotify version you're running there?

On another note, just to confirm, is this happening if you change the internet connection you're using? Is this happening over WiFi? Ethernet? Both? If possible, you can create a hotspot from your phone and connect your computer to it, to see if you notice any difference. Give it a try and let us know if changing the connection makes any difference.
 

Lastly, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details.
