My Question or Issue

Spotify was stuck on 'offline', saying i had no connection when I had a good connection. I tried updating and then reinstalling, but when I went to sign back in using facebook, the facebook window where I was supposed to log in just crashed and I was sent back to the desktop app, where it said something about a firewall and proxy, and one time the error code auth:5, then the next time accesspoint:45.

We're currently aware of an issue causing the behavior you describe. We suggest you go to this Ongoing Issue and add your vote to it by clicking on the +VOTE button. 

 

Make sure you follow the steps provided under Status Update as well. 

 

It'll also be useful to subscribe via the three-dots menu in the top right corner next to the title. That'll make sure you stay up to date with any relevant updates about this.
