Keeps changing device during playback

Spotify keeps changing the playback device.  It will switch to my Google speakers (using Google Cast) over my computer.  I'll forget those speakers and it doesn't make a difference.  This happens from computer and phone.  I've tried reinstalling Spotify and it makes no difference.

It sound like you're experiencing troubles using the Connect feature. 

First off, we'd recommend that you log out everywhere by following the steps here.

We'd also suggest checking out this page and trying the troubleshooting steps mentioned under "Connect not working" part of the article.

Lastly, you've mentioned that you forgot those speakers, however, it'll be best if you do that again, but this time make sure to restart the app afterwards.
