Large number of tracks will not play / reinstall no good on Mac Pro OS X 10.8.5

Having been a premium subscriber to Spotify for the better part of 2 years, I've become infuriated with the desktop version of the app on my Mac Pro.  Every update has worsened my experience.  I'm on Mac OS X 10.8.5 and had to revert to Spotify version 0.8.5 in order to return to working order.

I've attempted all clean uninstall/reinstall methods and have yeilding zero results.  A matter of fact, when I try to purge the deeper files that instructions say to remove, those particular folders are no where to be found.  No Spotify folder in my Library/Caches, nor in Application Support.

 

If anyone has any insight on other possible folder locations or fixes, it would be greatly appreciated.
