Loading Problems

So I was listening to a playlist when an ad came up. It said it was loading so I let it load, but 15 minutes have passed and so I tried escaping from the app. Its been 3 hours, I can't get the app to close and the ad is still loading. Should I shut down my laptop or just keep it loading, or something else?

I would recommend you to restart your laptop and reinstall your Spotify,
