Local files playing scratchy sound

When I play one of my local files on spotify, it sounds like the audio is almost blown out or something. I've opened the file up with other music programs and the playback is fine there; it seems to be local to spotify only. This specific file also won't sync to my phone.

Thanks for reaching out. Is only that one file affected? If so, then the issue is most likely related to the file itself. Perhaps it uses some codec that causes some confusion with Spotify and thus causes the sound errors, or maybe there is some corruption to the file itself that Spotify detects but other propgrams do not. The same can explain the sync issue too. Nonetheless, if you can, send us a video recording where the audio issue can be heard so that we can investigate this.
